With the Easter holiday in our midst, clever contests about eggs, chickens, and bunnies begin springing up. One that never fails to get a few chuckles from me is the “create-something-out-of-peeps,” like this contest from Seattle Times. Now, while I don’t find the candy all that appetizing, seeing those little pastel colored mallows in a diorama titled “Peeps of the Caribbean” or “Peeper Fever” (a tribute to tween sensation Justin Bieber) gets me every time.

Every newly-minted couple wants their honeymoon to be romantic, stress-free and all things wonderful. What could be more stress-free than an all-inclusive trip to Jamaica? (Answer: nothing.) Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (Little Rock, AR) and Sandals Resort encourage betrothed duos to enter themselves in this photo contest – the most adorable of them is headed for a sunny, sandy honeymoon!
