In Atlanta, Peachtree Road Race is a well-attended event that attracts runners, walkers and spectators alike to celebrate Independence Day. To promote this beloved institution, Atlanta Journal-Constitution asks readers to design the official Road Race tee with this creative contest. Each week during the month of February, WHO-TV (Des Moines, IA) gave away a free trip Florida. In order to enter, contestants had to watch Channel 13′s meteorologists to receive that day’s clue. Contestants were allowed to enter the Florida Fly-Away contest as many times as they would like.
